- Lavender comes from the latin word lavare, which means to wash. It has antibacterial and antiseptic properties to promote healing, especially for acne-prone skin, and is known to reduce scarring and the over-production of sebum.
- Helichrysum is known for it’s healing properties, even for the most sensitive skin, as an anti-inflammatory and anti-bruising oil.
- Peppermint is a cephalic, which promotes clear thinking. It’s cooling properties are helpful for burns while it’s analgesic properties may help with pain.
